Founded in April 2009 in Kyiv, the Language Exchange Club (LEC) helps residents and visitors in a city to improve their language skills, share an international perspective, and make lasting friendships.

LEC meetings are free of charge and you don't have to register on the website to visit them.

Weekly meetings in KYIV, Ukraine.

Some groups are looking for organizers to help or revive them. Check the EVENTS column and ASK THE ORGANIZERS for more!

Have fun at the meetings... but please remember to be considerate of the restaurants (buy something from them if you can: they will accept us better) and be considerate of other customers. Sit in small groups and don't move the tables. If you move a chair, put it back in place afterwards.

John Carragee (1953-2011)

Dear friends, John Carragee was a founder of the Language Exchange Club. He passed away on the 24th of October 2011. Those of you who knew him will remember his drive and the energy he gave us to run the club. John also developed the club in a dozen of other cities in Ukraine, Poland, Spain and other European countries. Thanks to him we are creating a growing community which is changing the lives of hundreds. Thank you John!
