Event Description

Philosophy Meeting in English: What Should Be Unforgivable?

We all err. There isn’t a single person on earth who has never made a mistake. We slip, ask for forgiveness, get forgiven, and then make new mistakes. The ability to forgive is an essential human quality, which makes human relationships possible. Without it, we would constantly bear grudges and wouldn’t be able to carry on with our lives in a constructive way. This, however, raises the question of whether we should forgive everything, or whether some things should be unforgivable. And should there be a difference between forgiving and forgetting?
